All-On-4®

Why Choose All-On-Four®?

The All-on-4® treatment concept is designed to replace a full set of teeth using as few as four dental implants to support a prosthetic bridge. Most procedures can be completed in as little as one day. And, following a brief healing period, you can once again smile and speak with confidence, as well as enjoy all your favorite meals.

Since its introduction nearly 20 years ago, over 250,000 individuals worldwide have restored the function and appearance of their smiles with the innovative All-on-4® treatment concept.

Proud to be an All-on-4® Center of Excellence

Georgia Dental Implant Center is proud to be an All-on-4® Center of Excellence, a designation bestowed to fewer than 2% of dental practices in North America. This designation is earned through the proven professionalism and experience of our staff and use of authentic Nobel Biocare components. We are proud to represent Georgia in the All-on-4® Centers of Excellence program.

The success rate of this procedure is high. Although, like all types of surgical procedures, the All-on-4® treatment concept is not without risk and individual results may vary. Only through a professional consultation with Dr. Steve T. Hahn, D.M.D, can the team at Georgia Dental Implant Center determine your individual risks and whether you are a viable candidate for this procedure.

The Procedure

After a patient accepts treatment, we start with an impression appointment. At this appointment you get to decide on what your temporary prosthesis will look like and we schedule your surgery date. We strongly suggest IV sedation for this type of surgery for patient comfort and we follow guidelines to ensure safety of the patient during the procedure. A CT scan is also taken prior to the date of your surgery and Dr. Steve T. Hahn uses the most up to date imaging software to measure and "map" where the placement of the implants are best to avoid the sinus cavity and optimize healing after surgery. After the implants are placed, the temporary prosthesis is then customized to ensure best final placement for fitting and functionality. We take a post-op X-ray to analyze before we release you to ensure optimal implant acceptance. Our team goes in detail of the after care instructions before your surgery and after your surgery to make sure all of your questions are answered.

Zirconia All-On-4®

For the final prosthesis we use the same porcelain we use on dental crowns, rather than the traditional acrylic (plastic) teeth of an all on 4. Although this looks somewhat similar to a traditional acrylic hybrid denture,, it is much stronger. Implant supported zirconia prosthesis are less likely to break. Stats show 50% of acrylic all on 4s break in some way within 5 years. Furthermore, it will always look exactly because it doesn’t wear down like acrylic! We have developed our system so that you never have to go without teeth after the implant placement surgery. We attach an acrylic temporary prosthesis that will be fixed to the implants during the healing stage (6-8 months). Once we verify the implants and tissue has healed, we move on to the Zirconia prosthesis process. We work close with our lab technicians to ensure you get the smile of your dreams.
