Our Surgical Assistants

Jennifer T.

Director of Implant Operations and Restorative/Surgical Supply Management, Acworth and Midtown

With over 25 years in dentistry, Jennifer has extensive experience helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She graduated in 1997 with an Associate of Applied Science degree and completed the Dental Assistant Program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Early in her career, she built a strong foundation in cosmetic dentistry. She joined Georgia Dental Implant Center in 2010 as a surgical and restorative assistant, was later promoted to Implant Manager, and now serves as Director of Implant Operations.

Jennifer has expertise in both surgical and restorative implant procedures and is known for her attention to detail, gentle approach, and dedication to patient comfort, ensuring every patient feels confident throughout their care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two sons and family.

Nina D.

Implant Surgical Assistant and Phlebotomist, Acworth and Midtown
Nina started her dental career after graduating from Medix College in 2004. She is one of our surgical and restorative assistants and loves helping her patients. She is married and has two handsome sons and an adorable daughter. She enjoys reading, shopping, watching the Braves play, and spending time with her family. She goes out of her way to make your dental visit a wonderful experience.

Yazzmin A.

Implant Surgical Manager Hispanic Patient Liason, Acworth and Midtown
Yazzmin Joined us in May 2013. She was born in Mexico and attended dental school at DT Dental in Marietta. She has two wonderful children. She enjoys activities at her church, plays the drums, working out, dancing and spending quality time with her children. She has a true passion for what she is doing and cares deeply for our patients. She is always smiling. Yazzmin is bi-lingual and speaks English and Spanish.

Lead Dental Assistant, Acworth

Jacqueline joined us in November 2018. She was born in Marietta GA. She attended school at DCI (Dental Career Institute). She is very friendly and enjoys helping others. She assists at both our Acworth and Dunwoody practices. She loves going on adventures with family and friends.

She is also bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

Bobbie K.

Dental Assistant, Acworth

Bobbie was born in Bulgaria and moved to the United States in her mid-twenties. She has two beautiful children. With 10 years of experience, her passion is cosmetic dentistry. She loves making her patients happy with their new smiles.
She has mastered the art of scanning and some patients do not need to use the impression material. Scanning creates a perfect outline to create crowns, bridges and full mouth restorations.
Her hobbies are traveling and exploring new places. She can be found in the mountains hiking or biking and loves playing tennis. Bobbie is bi-lingual in English and Bulgarian.

Dwight is ex military with the USAF for eight years. He worked on planes and now on teeth. Originally from New York, his parents are from the Dominican Republic, and his mom is from Haiti. They retired in Miami. Dwight used to work at my father’s practice when he was young. He decided to take his own path. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a major in Biology and hasn’t used his knowledge yet. Dentistry has kept him busy, and the end result has been rewarding. Dwight has been in this business for over 21 years, and each day is an adventure, seeing the start to finish of our patients. Dwight has also mastered the art of scanning patients’ existing dental conditions so that the doctors can design the best treatment plan. Dwight is Tri-lingual, speaking English, Spanish, and French.

Gimmie D.

Dental Assistant, Acworth

Gimmie began her dental journey during the summer of 2020, taking classes to become a Dental Assistant. While getting her certifications for Dental Assisting, X-Rays, and CPR during a global pandemic, she understands the importance of cleanliness and friendliness. She has worked alongside doctors, other assistants, hygienists, and office staff, to become as flexible as she can.

Before joining the team, she spent many years in retail management, leading large teams, and decided that is was time for a change. Gimmie has worked to improve patient relationships with her respective teams, to be well rounded, and to make each patient leave happy, with a confident smile! When she’s not taking care of patients, she spends time with her daughter and two dogs.

Michelle M.

Dental Assistant, Acworth

With 29 years of experience in the dental field, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role. Originally from Savannah, GA, she has lived in the Atlanta area for nearly three decades. Michelle graduated from DCI with a degree in Dental Assisting and has since built a long and rewarding career helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. She is known for her gentle chairside manner, attention to detail, and commitment to creating a positive dental experience for every patient. Michelle especially enjoys working with families and helping nervous patients feel at ease. Outside of the office, Michelle loves spending time with her grown daughter and exploring all that the Atlanta area has to offer. She believes in lifelong learning and continues to stay up to date with the latest advances in dental care.

Jesua T.

Hygiene Dental Assistant, Acworth
Jesua was born 18 years ago here in Georgia. In his free time he enjoys going to the gym and working on cars. Jesua has a big heart and has recently discovered his love for patient care. Since joining our team he has been getting hands-on experience as a dental assistant. Jesua considers himself a lifelong learner and is always seeking new knowledge. He also loves spending time with his family and is always finding ways to succeed and excel in life. He is bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

Mike M.

Lab Manager, Acworth and Midtown
Mike graduated from Scott Skill Center dental program first in his class and is now a Master Dental Technician. He worked at Cedar Dental for one year then moved to Hollywood, California at the age of 21. He perfected his craft working and creating some of Hollywoods best smiles. He returned to Georgia where he opened his own dental lab and has 39 years experience. He is a single parent of 3 girls and1 boy, and loves horseback riding and Kung Fu.(Not watching it, doing it!) He loves James Brown who encouraged him as a young man.

Jong Kim

Lab Manager, Midtown

Jong Kim was born in Korea and earned his degree in Dental Technology from Shingu University. Before immigrating to the United States in 2007, he gained several years of clinical experience at a private dental clinic and went on to establish and manage KIM Dental Lab in South Korea. During this time, he enhanced his skills by completing the Ceramic Program twice at the NSK Dental Technology Research Association, earning an In-Ceram certification from VITA Headquarters in Germany, completing the Occlusion Program at his alma mater’s research laboratory, and finishing the Implant Program at the former Chiyewon Institute.

After relocating to the U.S., Mr. Kim continued to expand KIM Dental Lab in Georgia, which he successfully operated for about 15 years. He now serves as a skilled dental technician at Gentle Dental Care Implant Center, where he is dedicated to providing patients with the highest quality results through his expertise and professionalism.

Outside of work, Mr. Kim enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, son-in-law, and grandchildren, whose love and support inspire his commitment to excellence every day.
